Objectives
The primary objective of the soils program at the Southern Research and
Outreach Center is to conduct applied soil and crop management research that
results in improved crop productivity, farm profitability, and environmental
quality for Midwest farmers. A secondary objective is to quickly disseminate
the information through a wide variety of venues including news releases,
annual reports, agricultural print and broadcast media, extension and short
course talks, field days, and peer-reviewed publications.
